Any student caught intentionally plagiarizing
part or all of paper
will receive a
zero for that paper and for the class.
To clarify p. 20 of the Survival Kit:
The
penalty for minor mishandlings of sources in work submitted for a grade
will be assessed in the grade for that writing. The penalty for
plagiarism, however, will be more severe. Plagiarism is no
mistake, and if you plagiarize, you will not earn
credit for the course.
Regardless
of the number of points
honestly earned, any student caught intentionally plagiarizing part or
all of paper submitted for a grade will receive a zero for that paper
and an automatic N for this class. Additional penalties may also be
imposed by the College of Arts and Sciences if this is not your first
violation of academic conduct.
